I am a serious shopper I want quality at a great price too, some say you get what you pay for, but i believe you just have to take the good with the bad sometimes take a loss but in my case i cant afford it so i am a Bargain shopper and this right here is a great deal! My daughter really needed a dresser we could not afford one I HAVE BEEN CHECKING AROUND FOR YEARS I WANTED QUALITY but everything beautiful white with any detailing was expensive i wanted a girly dresser and i saw this for this price we had to get it thought what a awesome deal so i thought even if its cheaply made i would just get wood glue and glue the pieces it should last i ordered it i had free super saver free shipping, as soon as we unpacked it checked all the pieces,screws & tools we needed we were ready took our time step by step our first time building a 6 drawer dresser there were lots of pieces we spread everytning out we did exactly what the instructions said step by step the instructions were made it soo easy best instructions i have ever had building. so everything was durable i am so happy with the durable construction i absolutely love this dresser it took a few hours we took breaks and its outcome A VERY BEAUTIFUL DRESSER STRONG I DID NOT USE ANY GLUE IT DIDNT NEED IT THANK YOU AMAZON. I strongly recommend this if your looking for quality and cant afford it this is perfect. FYI i would of payed more for this dresser anywhere else most store will build your furniture also but for this price i did not mind building it at all me and my my husband were clueless and all the pieces over whelming but for this price i would buy it again and build it again. We did not have a big budget but needed a new dresser. When this dresser arrived my husband, who is extremely handy, could not believe how many pieces there were. He said it is not a dresser for someone with no experience, and a power drill makes assembly much smoother. Some of the pieces arrived with paint chipping but since we ordered white we were able to touch up those spots, however South Shore was willing to send replacement parts free of charge. The top of the dresser arrived broken due to transit- it was very well packaged but UPS treats everything like garbage, and one phone call to south shore went extremely smooth, and they sent the replacement piece with no questions asked. The quality is what you can expect from a walmart or target piece of furniture. It is compressed wood with a laminate white coating. It is not meant to take a beating. The drawer sliders are plastic, and at first we were concerned but after finishing assembly it is fine! They glide smoothly and fit perfectly. The drawer bottoms have a reinforcement piece which should extend the life and help the drawers not to sag. Overall we are happy with the dresser and would recommend it be used by anyone who will take very good care of it. If you order from Cymax, please know they have great customer service and respond to emails in a timely manner.
This was not what I expected. I know it wasn't the most expensive dresser but for more almost $200 I expected it to be better than Walmart quality furniture. I think I'd have been better off to buy a cheaper one from Walmart and saved myself the shipping charges too. I bought two and have only had them 6 months and the top of one has already come loose from moving it to rearrange the bedroom. It was a pain to assemble and the finish chips easily and so does the wood itself. Its more like cheap particle board. Drawer action is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Poor quality.
I bought this dresser because I wanted something that looked nice but didn't cost an arm and a leg. For the price this was a great buy, it went together very nice, and the drawers are deep enough that I can stack 5 to 6 pairs of adult jeans without them being stuffed. The drawer slides are plastic but they slide remarkably well, the drawers go in and out very smoothly. I am very pleased with this product.
I purchased three items from this collection for my grandson's room. I was very pleased with all three. The dresser is very sharp looking and the perfect size. The color is just exceptional. Thanks Amazon.
We were surprised at how easy this went together. The directions are very easy to understand and our daughter loves her new bedroom suite and we are pleased with the quality for the price.
