   While the item arrived quickly & perfectly wrapped, I was a bit disappointed with the item. Its a very flimsy wood (will break if you are not extremely gentle while adjusting it), and the metal parts arent metal, but instead cheap plastic or laminate- which overlaps itself in areas and is peeling back in others. From far away it looks very pretty, better than the photos, but up close it looks like a cheap piece of furniture. Would NOT have spent that much on it. Also, the one I got is NOTHING like the one shown in the photos. Mine has a Square faux metal laminate top image panel, then some sort of wicker weave in the center surrounded my the faux metal laminate, then another square of the faux wicker laminate at the bottom. Ours has no ornate detailing at the top (just solid wood), and none of the decoration at the bottom. Luckily the color will work with our room, but if you are after something that is like what you see in the photo, DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR. Overall, its not nearly worth what I spent on it. Id maybe say half the cost is reasonable, just dont expect to get the item you see in the photo.

   I got this to replace the standard rice paper screens my cats were tearing apart. The wood is a lovely mahogany with crimson on the panels and a not cheesy at all flower vase design - slightly distressed to look vintage. The back of the panels which I expected to be boring, were not... no design but the same indentations, perfect for the flip side visible in the kitchen. I use this to separate the living room from the kitchen in my apartment and it's lovely. No assembly required, just open the box.
