The Omega barstool combines classic materials with a modern design to bring you a superb bar stool that fits in any room. The style of the Omega is perfect in either a contemporary environment or a traditional kitchen. The wood conforms perfectly with the decor around it. The deep wood finish of the molded wooden seat brings warmth to any environment such as kitchen nook, bar area, play room. etc. The square chrome footrest cascades from the front lip to give you an ideal place to rest your feet as well as framing the seat on the sides and back to accentuate the richness of the wood. An ergonomic contoured seat provides superb comfort by molding to the shape of the body. The Omega stands on a slender chrome stem that houses the adjustable height gas lift and 360 degree swivel strut. The entire unit stands on a wide circular base that provides excellent stability and comes with a rubber ring beneath to keep your floor in perfect condition. Available in blackwood and espresso.
Each barstool comes complete with an adjustable gas lift tested to operate at least 100,000 times! Measures about 13.5" wide by 16" deep and adjust from table to counter/bar height (27" to 36" total height or 23" to 32" for the seat height). Base has a 15" diameter.

A little cheap looking. it was a cheap price overall so I cant complain to much. They are definetly not espresso, more like a warm brown wood.
I ordered four stools on June 1. They arrived promptly and look very stylish. The walnut color is quite dark and a little bit more red than expected but very nice.I am, however, very disappointed with how the stools were packaged. Two boxes arrived at my house, each with 2 stools. One wood seat in each box was severely scratched and damaged due to the metal poles having nothing but a thin, chintzy layer of newspaper covering the ends. As such, the poles scraped up 2 seats.What's even more disappointing is that I have called and emailed Vandue to try and get some resolution. Today is day 3 of my attempting to contact them and I have yet to get a hold of ANYONE or even the courtesy of a return phone call.Bottom line? Nice stools, but I would order from someplace else.
